WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION

Since more than one decade, CIRA has been developing strategies for the studies and monitoring of drinking water supplying projects in rural and urban areas.
Thos projects consist of the achievement of:
- modern large diameter wells or dug wells (counter-well connected to a borehole);
- borehole to produce groundwater, equipped with a manpowered pump;
- borehole to produce groundwater, equipped with immersed electric pump;
- solar system of water conveyance in urban and rural area;
- water pumping and treatment station;
- drinking water conveyance and distribution system.
CIRA has competences in the area of sanitation. The projects achieved in that field include not only liquid and solid wastes, but also the road and pluvial sanitation.
